Package: tex-common Version: 3.13 Severity: important User: debian-qa@lists.debian.org Usertags: piuparts Hi, during a test with piuparts I noticed that the ancient texlive-lang-arab from lenny may be still installed and cause problems during upgrades (noticed during a lenny -> squeeze -> wheezy upgrade). texlive-lang-arab was renamed to texlive-lang-arabic in squeeze, but no clean upgrade path (by adding a transitional package) was introduced at that time. Either a transitional package could be added now or just a Breaks could be added to tex-common (or another package) to ensure the obsolete package gets removed. >From the attached log: Processing triggers for tex-common ... Running updmap-sys. This may take some time... updmap-sys failed. Output has been stored in /tmp/updmap.hcU1LsUN Please include this file if you report a bug. Sometimes, not accepting conffile updates in /etc/texmf/updmap.d causes updmap-sys to fail. You can disable non-existent map entries using the option --syncwithtrees. cheers, Andreas
