I cannot parse your remarks, sorry. Anyway, I don't expect anyone
to pick up the new fonts-lmodern package now, and depend on
the current package with a version >= sid. The rdepends are:
texlive-xetex
texlive-full
texlive-base
context
all under my control
sisu-pdf
fig2ps
dblatex
I guess no problem.
Same for tex-gyre.
