Bug#688893: texlive-binaries: Outdated information in updmap.cfg man page

Ugg, yes, that has to be fixed, sorry.

Yes, which is intended. Why should we create it?

What do you mean with "purpose"? It has the purpose that some
configuration files in a TeX environment are found only when
they are in this directory.

Which confusion? At the current moment updmap in Debian behaves
the very same way as it behaves in upstream TeX Live 2012, and this
is the way it will behave for the future.

So what about confusion? 

THe paragraph in the NEWS files clearly explains what is going on.

The man page has to be fixed, I agree.

Which is nothing specific to Debian, ... I guess you should 
* read the documentation of kpathsea
	info kpathsea
* read the configuration files:
	/etc/texmf/web2c/texmf.cnf
	/usr/share/texlive/texmf/web2c/texmf.cnf
* if you package any fonts, it might be useful to read the man page
  of dh_installtex
	man dh_installtex
