but I had to remove it again. Well, the patch is in the package,
but disabled. It badly behaves on Debian. With this patch
when I zoom xdvi segfaults with some X error.

SO, sorry, but if you want it for Ubuntu you need to re-activate
it.

If there is a better patch that also works on Debian, I am happy to
include it.
