I used to be a "junior developer" on the pkg-teTeX group/project on
alioth, with the associated Debian group tetexcvs and CVS repository.
Somebody recently asked on the texlive mailing list:

A good point! teTeX was replaced by texlive in experimental almost
exactly six years ago. Please could the teTeX group be removed from
alioth - it no longer serves any purpose (except possibly for
historical interest), and the webpages are totally outdated.
Also, I notice on my "My Page" page on alioth that I am an admin on
the non-existent "TeX Live for Debian" alioth group; I'm not sure how
this came to be, but please could the link be removed, if that is
easily possible.
