In debian, many man files have subsection(perl, tcl, and so on) in file name.
There is only w2px which has subsection "L"(wp2x.1l.gz). But not "L"
in the file.

Some man files have "L" subsection in file, but is not has subsection
in file name.

I agree with you that "L" is obsolete.
