Bug#659907: texlive-binaries: fails to upgrade with jadetex installed
Package: texlive-binaries
Followup-For: Bug #659907
Hi there.
I'm also seeing something which looks like this bug, but I am not sure if
the symptoms are just the same, with a different cause.
I don't have jadetex installed.
For some reason, reverting back to stable's version of texlive-base (*not*
texlive-binaries) reinstalls the conffile pdftexconfig.tex which is what was
trying to be found during the upgrade (below are last lines of the fmtutil log):
,----
| fmtutil: running `pdftex -ini -jobname=latex -progname=latex -translate-file=cp227.tcx *latex.ini' ...
| This is pdfTeX, Version 3.1415926-1.40.10 (TeX Live 2009/Debian) (INITEX)
| (/usr/share/texmf-texlive/web2c/cp227.tcx)
| entering extended mode
| (/usr/share/texmf-texlive/tex/latex/latexconfig/latex.ini
| ! I can't find file `pdftexconfig'.
| l.7 \input pdftexconfig
|
| (Press Enter to retry, or Control-D to exit)
| Please type another input file name:
| ! Emergency stop.
| l.7 \input pdftexconfig
|
| No pages of output.
