texlive-binaries upgrade

Hi,

I'm trying to upgrade the texlive-binaries package from 2009-9 =>
2009-10. The upgrade will remove a bunch of packages:

sid:~# apt-get --verbose-versions install texlive-binaries
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
The following packages will be REMOVED:
   cm-super (0.3.4-3)
   cm-super-minimal (0.3.4-3)
   context (2011.05.18.20110627-1)
   latex-beamer (3.10-1)
   latex-xcolor (2.11-1)
   latex2html (2008-debian1-5)
   muttprint (0.73-3)
   pgf (2.10-1)
   texlive-base (2009-11)
   texlive-bibtex-extra (2009-10)
   texlive-extra-utils (2009-10)
   texlive-font-utils (2009-10)
   texlive-fonts-recommended (2009-13)
   texlive-games (2009-10)
   texlive-generic-recommended (2009-13)
   texlive-lang-german (2009-3)
   texlive-latex-base (2009-13)
   texlive-latex-extra (2009-10)
   texlive-latex-recommended (2009-13)
   texlive-latex3 (2009-10)
   texlive-metapost (2009-13)
   texlive-pictures (2009-13)
   texlive-pstricks (2009-10)
   texlive-publishers (2009-10)
   texlive-xetex (2009-13)
   tipa (1.3-14)
The following packages will be upgraded:
   texlive-binaries (2009-9 => 2009-10)
1 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 26 to remove and 11 not upgraded.
Need to get 7,685 kB of archives.
After this operation, 364 MB disk space will be freed.
Do you want to continue [Y/n]? n

Anybody having an idea why this happens? The only difference between
the new and the old package I see is:

new:
Breaks: texlive-base (<< 2009-12)
Recommends: texlive-base

old: didn't have an entry

The new one depends on zlib1g (>= 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg) instead of 1:1.1.4.
