dvipdfmx doesn't use the Gothic font for \textbf{} or \gt .

Hello.\textbf{Hello.}{\bf Hello.}{\gt Hello.}
\end{document}
$ platex tmp
$ dvipdfmx tmp
$ acroread tmp.pdf
The English alphabets are in bold face for \textbf and \bf
but all Japanese text is set in the Mincho font.
