Hi,

I can confirm this behavior when upgrading from lenny to squeeze.  I get:

# dpkg --configure luatex
Setting up luatex (0.60.2-1) ...
Building format(s) --byengine luatex.

/tmp/fmtutil.yca89zG2

dpkg: error processing luatex (--configure):
 subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
 luatex


# cat /tmp/fmtutil.yca89zG2
/usr/bin/fmtutil: 974: /usr/share/texmf/texconfig/tcfmgr: not found
fmtutil: config file `fmtutil.cnf' not found.


What is the proper way to solve this problem?
