Package: context
Version: 2009.11.26-2
Severity: important

after a fresh installation of context i am not able to use

$ context
or
$ context hello.tex

it claims:
MTXrun | unknown script 'context.lua' or 'mtx-context.lua'

on
http://wiki.contextgarden.net/How_to_configure_Scite_and_Context
i found a hint:
"Have you tried running luatools --generate"

as user i typed
$ luatools --generate

now it works. I think that should be included systemwide in the installation script.

What about
	/usr/share/doc/context/README.MarkIV

> now it works. I think that should be included systemwide in the installation script.

Cannot be done, because luatools and all of MarkIV is user specific,
so every user has to do it by himself.

This is a misconcept in context MarkIV itself, but I cannot change
that.

Closing this bug.

Best wishes
