Package: texlive-base-bin
Version: 2007.dfsg.2-3
Severity: normal

Whenever I run xelatex, it gives these complaints in the end:

(/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/lm/omxlmex.fd) (./000README.frpl) (./000README.frpl
) (./000README.frpl) (./000README.frpl) (./000README.frpl) [1]
(./000README.frpl
** WARNING ** This .map file looks like a dvips format fontmap file.

** WARNING ** -- Reading fontmap file stopped at: file="pdftex.map", line=7.
) [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] (./000README.aux) )

But some PDF-file is always created and it looks normal. It happens every time
and I think it happens even with the most minimal files. It happens also
when ConTeXt is run so that uses XeTeX as its engine:

(/usr/share/texmf/tex/context/base/cont-err.tex
systems : no file 'cont-sys.tex', using 'cont-sys.rme' instead
) )

In that case file was like this:

It was compiled with this command:

texexec --xtx hiragana

BTW when I run reportbug-command, it gave this error:

/var/lib/texmf/web2c/updmap.cfg: Permission denied

ls -la says this:

-rw------- 1 root root 14810 7.8. 01:16 /var/lib/texmf/web2c/updmap.cfg

Is that normal? My umask-setting may be quite paranoid for root: 077
