This is all I have in my apt's log regarding luatex:
$ sudo grep luatex /var/log/apt/term.log
 luatex depends on texlive-base-bin.
Preparing to replace luatex 0.40.6-1+b1 (using
.../luatex_0.46.0-6_amd64.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement luatex ...
Selecting previously deselected package texlive-luatex.
