Bug#517877: dvi file unreadable



Hi Ian,

early this year you reported a problem you had with xdvi displaying dvi
files garbled.  We asked you:

Does this problem still exist?  If you don't answer in the next days, I
assume it was due to a local problem and will close the bug.
