Dear Michael, down here in the Debian bug tracking system we got a bug report regarding your package covington.sty. The submitter complains that the package redefines \textfloatsep . He asks why the package does that. I have to say I don't understand it either: a package written to define some new accent macros is not expected to change this parameter.
