| problem. Would you be so kind to check?

"Maybe". The package (gretl) that was blocked by libpoppler4 is now blocked
by libcairo2 depending on an old libdirectfb-1.0.0 which has gone -- so now I
am waiting for libcairo2 built against libdirectfb-1.2.0. R unfortunately
also depends on libcairo2 so I am blocked here too.

I could cheat for once and try a cairo-less R to test this but I also have a
meeting for an upcoming conference next month so not sure when I get to
this. I want to try this though as it has been bugging Kurt and me for a
loooong time.

Thanks for the follow-up -- truly appreciated!

Dirk
