Sure thing, esp as a new set of R release candidates is around the corner.

But I got bitten by another build-dependency issue -- texlive-base-bin
depends on libpoppler3 which seems to have vanished, yet has not yet been
rebuilt libpoppler4.  Do you know anything about that?
