Package: texlive-lang-german
Version: 2007.dfsg.1-2
Severity: normal

I wanted to typeset a (german) document using the Utopia font. So, ich
added '\usepackage[utopia]{mathdesign}' to my preamble, executed 'latex
mydocument.tex' and was baffled by an error '! Missing number, treated
as zero.' (see minimal input file).

Changing the ordering of the inclusion of the two packages german and
mathdesign to mathdesign and german seems to solve the issue.

If you were able to load both packages you should have the full
functionality. It should be irrelevant in which order they're loaded.

I'm closing the bug at this point.
