Hmm, I remeber something like this. But my tests didn't exhibit a
problem. Probably because the test documents didn't use vertical
typesetting, although AFAIR I tried all the examples/*.tex files and
they worked. Well, you are the master of that.

Ok, will be in texlive-font-utils with the upload of
texlive-bin 2007.dfsg.2-1
But needs some time. I will ask Frank about an upload soon.
