texlive-bin upload
Hi all,
in the short time since the last texlive-bin upload (27 April) several
bug fixes have accumulated:
* add mktexlsr-ignore-more-vcs patch that makes mktexlsr ignore not only
.svn, but also other VCS directories. Patch taken from upstream
(Closes: #481371) [np]
* Fix NEWS.Debian of texlive-base-bin to describe the issue of removed
conffiles better (closes: #482631) [fk]
* add a missing line to the tl2007.2 xetex patch, taken from upstream
* add a patch to xdvipdfmx to re-allow inclusion of tagged pdf images
(Closes: #483019) (big thanks to Jonathan Kew for tracking all this down)
* do not install xdvizilla(.1) (Closes: #477160)
The above parts have been tested by myself at least on all the test
cases we got in the bug reports.
The following things are open which we still COULD push into the
package:
- Frank's patch to Bug#454324: texlive-base-bin -- Doesn't purge all
files after piuparts Install+Upgrade+Purge test
that would need some testing
- #458059 texlive-base-bin: max grouping levels exceeded

In (pdf)tex, that is. Not in Aleph|Omega|Luatex, and I am not sure
about XeTeX.
I am not sure what this means, so is it enough to increase this in the
source code? This is completely untested.
Any other suggestions and/or comments?
Last question? Do we want triggers/tex-common in lenny?
Best wishes
Norbert
