Bug#482631: Failed to configure

Package: texlive-base-bin
Version: 2007.dfsg.1-3+b1

When I tried to configure texlive-base-bin, it failed with the
following error messages:

> Setting up texlive-base-bin (2007.dfsg.1-3+b1) ...
> Running mktexlsr. This may take some time... done.

/tmp/fmtutil.smsb8185 contained, in part, the following messages:

> fmtutil: running `mf-nowin -ini -jobname=mf -progname=mf -translate-file=cp227.tcx mf.ini' ...

texlive-base appears to contain /usr/share/texlive-base/modes.mf and
/etc/texmf/metafont/misc/modes.mf, but the latter wasn't present on my
system. Once I reinstalled texlive-base, texlive-base-bin configured
successfully.
