I tagged it like this as it has a major impact on the usability of  
the package for *me*, "without rendering it completely unusable to  
everyone" ;-)

No, I mean I've attached a patch and the bug is in the upstream part  
of the package. I'd have reported the bug to upstream but I couldn't  
(now I can) access the website mentioned in the script.
