Bug#478176: texlive-base-bin: transition to texlive has lost xdvi 'grid' feature

I believe that a minimal input file is not needed for this report;
the maintainer can check the xdvi man page or try with any dvi file.

The xdvi distributed with tetex supported a 'D' keystroke which meant
'toggle grid mode'.  (See man page at http://tinyurl.com/5ashh3)
This feature is invaluable for debugging tricky horizontal and 
vertical alignments in technical figures and so on.  The feature is
omitted from the version of xdvi distributed with texlive.  Please
correct this omission.
