 It's targetted at experimental; I just asked the release team to grant
 the unstable transition for the SONAME changes (this usually takes a
 while, probably after the python2.5 move so a long while).

 Sure; I don't upload poppler regularly, it just happens that I had some
 spare time to prepare it; I tried building kdegraphics, koffice2, and
 evince to try the new poppler out, and they built fine.  My laptop
 wasn't too happy about this churn though, so I'd appreciate if someone
 from the TeX group could try out the new poppler instead of me.  :-)
