Thanks for creating and maintaining texlive packages for Debian!

I noticed something awkward in one file included in texlive-latex-extra.

It seems I am not allowed to modify this file.
This conflicts with DFSG#3.

It seems I am not allowed to distribute this file.
This conflicts with DFSG#1.
Moreover, is the Debian Project allowed to distribute this file?
In case it is, this conflicts with DFSG#8.
In case it's not, the Debian Project seems to be violating copyright laws
by distributing this file.

I failed to find relevant copyright/license info in
/usr/share/doc/texlive-latex-extra/copyright

What's going on here?

This *seems* to conflict with DFSG#3.

Again, it *seems* to.

This work is under the LPPL (which can be found if you follow
the hint "For distribution of the original source..."). The LPPL
(version 1.3b and later) is DFSG-free, but it poses certain restrictions
on modifications, and on completeness of distribution: You are not
allowed to distribute a modified "compiled work" (the generated file)
without the source file. 

You are free to modifiy the source file (following some other
restrictions in the license on formalities) and distribute it together
with a changed generated file.

Therefore this is not a bug, and I'm closing it.
