Hi,

can you rename the hyperref manual? When you search with texdoc for
hyperref you find nothing. But with texdoc manual you get the hyperref
manual. This is not very intuitive.

$ texdoc -l manual
/usr/share/texmf/doc/latex/hyperref/manual.pdf.gz
/usr/share/texmf/doc/latex/caption/manual.dvi.gz

Bye, Jörg.

In the TeX Live distribution (which has replaced teTeX) there is now
a 266 page file called hyperref.pdf, which is just the translation of
hyperref.dtx (i.e. *not* the user manual).

hille@kloetzer:~ $ locate hyperref|grep texlive-latex-base-doc
/usr/share/doc/texlive-latex-base-doc/latex/hyperref
/usr/share/doc/texlive-latex-base-doc/latex/hyperref/ChangeLog.gz
/usr/share/doc/texlive-latex-base-doc/latex/hyperref/ChangeLog.pdf
/usr/share/doc/texlive-latex-base-doc/latex/hyperref/cmmi10-22.gif
/usr/share/doc/texlive-latex-base-doc/latex/hyperref/cmsy10-21.gif
/usr/share/doc/texlive-latex-base-doc/latex/hyperref/hyperref.pdf
/usr/share/doc/texlive-latex-base-doc/latex/hyperref/manual.css
/usr/share/doc/texlive-latex-base-doc/latex/hyperref/manual.html
/usr/share/doc/texlive-latex-base-doc/latex/hyperref/manual.pdf
/usr/share/doc/texlive-latex-base-doc/latex/hyperref/manual2.html
/usr/share/doc/texlive-latex-base-doc/latex/hyperref/manual3.html
/usr/share/doc/texlive-latex-base-doc/latex/hyperref/options.pdf
/usr/share/doc/texlive-latex-base-doc/latex/hyperref/paper.pdf
/usr/share/doc/texlive-latex-base-doc/latex/hyperref/README.gz
/usr/share/doc/texlive-latex-base-doc/latex/hyperref/README.pdf
/usr/share/doc/texlive-latex-base-doc/latex/hyperref/slides.pdf

and "texdoc hyperref" works now. Yes, it contains links to the other
pdf files (ChangeLog.pdf, manual.pdf, options.pdf, paper.pdf,
README.pdf, slides.pdf).

I guess I can close the bug at this point.
