Ok, in case anything done the right way (tm) can be done, maybe you can
consider documenting the "do it by yourself" way in README.Debian, of
course explaining that it might not work with some setup ...
Also, considering my other bug report, you can consider providing some
.tex examples under /usr/share/doc/luatex/examples/. If you want I'm
willing to "port" (yes, I know, it should be trivial) the examples
available on the web to the recent commands.
