Please PURGE all cm-super packages (cm-super-minimal, cm-super,
cm-super-x11). Then reinstall the packages and CHECK that the
installation did succeed and send no error messages.
Then retry. Many people are using the fonts and it is working.

purge and reinstall the cm-super packages, after this it should work.
