Package: tetex-bin Version: 2.0.2-23 Severity: important Around Dec 5, I upgraded from stable to testing. Latex vanished. *poof* Gone. I tried 'updatedb; locate latex' in hopes of finding it, but alas, it was indeed gone. Sniff. Then I incanted 'apt-get install tetex-bin' and latex and I were happily reunited. A friend told me to file a bug report. He said latex isn't supposed to vanish during an upgrade. The info I've included is likely insufficient to fix the problem, but if you tell me what files to send you or how to look up whatever you might need to know, I'll gladly do that.
