Using babel in combination with scrlttr2 and rcs create a wrong output
of the date.

This has wrong output:
 \documentclass{scrlttr2}
 \usepackage[german]{babel}
 \usepackage{rcs}
 \RCSdate $Date: 2007/02/14 11:14:30 $
 \begin{document}
 \begin{letter}{}
    \opening{}
    \today
 \end{letter}
 \end{document}

This works:
 \documentclass{scrlttr2}
 \usepackage[german]{babel}
 \selectlanguage{german} % Note just this line
 \usepackage{rcs}
 \RCSdate $Date: 2007/02/14 11:14:30 $
 \begin{document}
 \begin{letter}{}
    \opening{}
    \today
 \end{letter}
 \end{document}
