Even when packages depend to the replacement texlive packages, they
will end up running needlessly mktexlsr, updmap-sys and building
byhyphen several times during install.
Or alternatively, consider endusers installing/removing texlive-full.
As quick test, apt-get remove tex-common when texlive-full is installed,
takes 10min here on a 3.3Ghz Xeon...
