Package: tetex-bin
Version: 3.0-30
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Trying to install tetex-bin on a lenny machine causes the following
error:

Setting up tetex-bin (3.0-30) ...
/var/lib/dpkg/info/tetex-bin.postinst: line 948:
/usr/share/tex-common/tetex-bin-upgrade: No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing tetex-bin (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
 tetex-bin
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
A package failed to install. Trying to recover:
Setting up tetex-bin (3.0-30) ...
/var/lib/dpkg/info/tetex-bin.postinst: line 948:
/usr/share/tex-common/tetex-bin-upgrade: No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing tetex-bin (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
 tetex-bin

The missing file does not in fact exist.
Moreover, the machine on which I was installing tetex-bin didn't have
any prevoius version installed, so I wonder why the postinst executes an
"upgrade" script.

Tommaso Colombo

The last couple of versions in sid already had it fixed, but I'm too
lazy to look up which. Therefore I'm just closing with the version I
uploaded today.
