Ok now I have
        dh_makeshlibs -plibkpathsea4 -V 'libkpathsea4 (>= 2007)'
        dh_shlibdeps -L libkpathsea4 -l $(CURDIR)/debian/libkpathsea4/usr/lib
which should do it.

The first call adds -V 'libkpathsea4 (>= 2007)' to ensure that a
libkpathsea4 from TeX Live is used. The other as in EXAMPLES.

Any objections?
