Can you try the following package:
	deb http://www.tug.org/texlive/Debian/ littex/
	deb-src http://www.tug.org/texlive/Debian/ littex/

I prepared a NMU which removes the full lm support, but leaves the urw.

Check whether it works with different documents you have.
