Package: texlive-latex-recommended
Version: 2007-4
Severity: important

After a recent upgrade, I cannot use komaskript any more, instead
I get:

! Class scrlttr2 Error: font of element `sectioning' can't be extended.

See the scrlttr2 class documentation for explanation.
Type H <return> for immediate help.
  ...

  l.3 \addtokomafont{sectioning}{\rmfamily}

This is on documents that have previously worked fine. Something
must have been screwed up because what I am doing is perfectly
sensible.

This may be related to #421079.

Hi Martin!

Closing this bug.

No, it is documented. Read
	/usr/share/doc/texlive-latex-recommended/latex/koma-script/scrguien.pdf
or
	/usr/share/doc/texlive-latex-recommended/latex/koma-script/scrguide.pdf

Table 6.11 gives the list of fonts which can be changed with
\setkomafont of \addtokomafont, and sectioning does not occur there.

I guess the idea is that a letter does not have sectioning.

Best wishes

Norbert
