Did you select the tetex-bin 2007 packages for removal??
My only explanation is the following:
before update: tetex-bin installed
aptitude upgrade in UI but:
- deselect the tetex transitional packages
What then could (!!!) (i wouldn't expect it!) happen that the tetex are
not completely removed while the new texlive packages are installed.
Only an idea.
Frank: What does it hurt to add the Replaces?
