Log:
* Rewrite tex-sed in Python (which allows us to fix problems that were really
  difficult to fix with the sed script, as in #413449).
  The new script is called texify-tex-output.

* Use texify-tex-output instead of tex-sed in the Makefile.

* Typographical fixes to the documents (e.g., wrong Metafont spelling).
