hyperref would use the hypertex driver by default. However, hyperref.cfg
in TeX Live and teTeX changes this to dvips for DVI-mode. I don't know
what graphics/ color would do by default, but again the .cfg-file
changes this to use dvips specials. So for sake of consistency it would
be a good idea to adjust geometry.cfg appropriately. IMO this change
should be done upstream, though.
