Package: context
Version: 2007.01.02-1
Severity: important
This bug was submitted by personal email by
Sanjoy Mahajan <sanjoy@mrao.cam.ac.uk>:
/usr/bin/texshow seems to have vanished from the context package (or was
never in them). It's in texlive-context, and most of it is in the
context pkg (I'm using 2007.01.02-1):
$ dpkg -L context | grep texshow
/usr/share/texmf/scripts/context/perl/texshow.pl
/usr/share/doc/context/scripts/perl/texshow.html
/usr/share/man/man1/texshow.1.gz
But /usr/bin/texshow isn't there. It still works if you do
perl /usr/share/texmf/scripts/context/perl/texshow.pl
but most users won't figure it out, especially if they look at the first
line of texshow.pl:
eval '(exit $?0)' && eval 'exec perl -w -S $0 ${1+"$@"}' && eval 'exec perl -w -S $0 $argv:q'
!!
-------------
Thanks Sanjoy, will be fixed in the next upload.
