Thanks for reporting.  I think the short answer is "not very useful",
but on the other hand it might not even be too hard to fix it to make it
somewhat useful.

For the manpage to be corrected, one would have to investigate first...

Not much time at the moment... you know...

At least a general warning should be added to the manual page.
