Well, I was hoping that someone with a better understanding of this
stuff would do it. :)

Thanks for noticing. The reason was outdated configuration on my part. I
use a group parameter to automatically set the To field when I reply
while reading one of the Gnus groups where the debian-tex commits fall
into, and it was still using the address of the old list:

(setq gnus-parameters
      (append

         [...]

         (":Debian-\\(tetex\\|texlive\\|lmodern\\)-commits$"
          (to-address . "debian-tetex-maint@lists.debian.org")

         [...]
