Bug#312924: tetex-base tries to install /var/lib/dpkg/tmp.ci as an info file

tetex does not install that file (and it installs fine for me!):
/var/lib/dpkg/tmp.ci is used internally by dpkg, it shouldnt exist
before installation starts. Do you have such a file (ls -l
/var/lib/dpkg/tmp.ci)?
It looks like peple have reported this bug against different packages
in the past, and the cause was probably corrupt dpkg status files
(which would explain the other messages about the `series' and
`sharefont' packages) did you have disk/power failures recently?
