Which problems are you experiencing?  There aren't many ps files
registered to texdoctk, but there is e.g. rules.ps for ukrhyph1 (from
"Languages/national specials"), and it is shown in gv here without
problems.  Moreover, there doesn't seem to be any occurence of "gv" in
texdoctk.  Instead, it takes its viewer options from
/etc/texdoctk/texdocrc, which defines "see" as the PS_VIEWER.
This is just a wrapper for mailcap entries, and will use some available
viewer for ps files.
