Current issues with gcc-4.9 on sh4

Hello!

Just a short heads-up regarding the recent build failures and segfaults
on sh4. These are triggered by a rather nasty regression in gcc-4.9
which occurs when code is compiled with -fstack-protector-strong which
results in all sorts of weird bugs. Ranging from segfaults in many
binaries as well as some binaries showing completely erratic behavior.

It took me several days to finally track this issue down and report
it upstream [1]. The responsible upstream change has already been
identified and will hopefully be reverted shortly.

Therefore, please refrain from reporting any bugs related to build
failures on sh4 as well as do *NOT* perform a dist-upgrade on any
machine running Debian sh4 as this will most likely render the
machine unbootable as even packages like systemd are behaving
erratically when compiled with the affected compiler versions.

Cheers,
Adrian
