Bug#867033: Openssh Server causes Server Hang

PS: There is nothing in the log file.
The server will be stopped(hang. power is on) momentarily and no messages will be left in the log.

This phenomenon appears to occur only in certain circumstances.

Occurs only HP microserver N54L + VMWare ESXi 6.5.x  + Debian 9 VM environments. + Netsarang Xshell SSH Client

I tried it in another environment, but it did not happen.

Other HW + VMWARE 6.5.x + Debian 9 VM

thx.

Do you mean that the entire server system hangs, or just the OpenSSH
server process?  If it's the former, then if it's even possible for it
to make the entire system hang then something else must be wrong (e.g. a
kernel bug of some kind).

In either case, have you been able to find any relevant system logs?  We
can't do much with this bug at present.
