Package: openssh-server
Version: 1:7.2p2-5
Severity: normal
Rebooted my computer today and found that "ssh.service" did not start:
Missing privilege separation directory: /var/run/sshd
"sudo mkdir /var/run/sshd" fixed the problem.
IMHO the best way to fix this problem permanently would be to add
"debian/openssh-server.ssh.tmpfile" file with the following content:
~~~~
d /var/run/sshd 0755 root root
~~~~
Thanks.
