I am, having the same problem, although it was vim case. I raised a new bug#639647 on dbus because I think it is unlikely to be a openssh issue. dbus-x11 is a more likely culprit. On reflection it is more likely caused by gvim trying to read the settings from gconf, and it is using dbus to do so. Not doing that at all would be preferable to the current behaviour, so maybe it is a gnome issue.
