Bug#512722: openssh-client: message "Warning: No xauth data..." after upgrading. Can't forward X11.
Package: openssh-client
Version: 1:5.1p1-5
Severity: important
I can no more use remote X11 forwarding.
When I ssh -Y or ssh -X I get this message:
Warning: No xauth data; using fake authentication data for X11 forwarding.
if I try for example to launch xeyes, I get:
Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 keyError: Can't open display: localhost:12.0
never happened before.
I have a working /usr/bin/xauth executable in both machines.
