Bug#480266: option to create non-login shell over ControlMaster socket connections

Package: openssh-client
Version: 1:4.7p1-8
Severity: wishlist
File: /usr/bin/ssh

Getting additional shell sessions on a remote machine through
a ControlMaster socket is much alike to opening terminals in X.
There, I have the option to get login shells in each, but I don't by
default.

With ssh, however, every shell is a login shell, even though via the
ControlMaster, I don't actually log in.

It would be nice if there was an option to tell ssh to create
non-login shells over ControlMaster socket connections. I seem to be
able to already simulate this with

  ssh -t host \$SHELL

so it doesn't seem impossible. :)
