Bug#350826: ssh man page doesn't even mention ssh-copy-id man page!
The ssh man page doesn't even mention the ssh-copy-id man page! Not in
SEE ALSO, nowhere.
It should be mentioned at top: "if all you want to
do is login to another machine without a passwd, see the
ssh-copy-id(1) man page."
Also mention it here:
The user should then
copy the identity.pub to ~/.ssh/authorized_keys in his/her home directory
on the remote machine (the authorized_keys file corresponds to the con-
ventional ~/.rhosts file, and has one key per line, though the...
"Or just use ssh-copy-id!"
And in SEE ALSO.
Did any others of $(dlocate -man openssh-client) get forgotten there too?
Also at the top of the ssh-copy-id man page DESCRIPTION section it
should say that ssh-copy-id's purpose is "run this once and afterwards
you can login or run commands etc. on the remote machine without a
password".
